Alan JohnCHALMERSAlan John Chalmers sadly and very suddenly passed away on Monday 29th July 2024, at the age of 72 years old.
Alan was a very popular and well loved character in Hertford. Beloved dad of Emma, Charlotte, Alice and Charlene and brother to Brian.
Alan was a very sociable man, had a great sense of humour and had a passion for card games, chess, snooker, karaoke and football, in particular being a massive Manchester United fan.
Alan was a caring, clever and fun man, who enjoyed teaching chess and card games to most people he met. Alan will be missed greatly by both family and by a lot of friends.
Dad, you are a guardian angel in Heaven now. We can't believe you are gone. We love and miss you so much. We will always be thinking of you, gone but never forgotten. Rest in eternal peace. Alan's funeral will be held on Tuesday 3rd September 2024 in Tewin, where he grew up. The service will be held at St Peter's Church at 2pm. There will be a get together afterwards.
All who knew Alan are welcome to attend. Flowers are appreciated.
