John AnthonyCHAMPIONSadly John passed away peacefully on 10th February 2024 at University Hospital of Wales aged 86 years.

Adored husband to the late Mary, Dad of Lesley, Colin, Wayne and the late Kim. Loved father in law, grampy, and great grampy. John will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Resting at Coles Funeral Directors until the service to be held at Thornhill Crematorium (Wenallt Chapel) on Monday 4th March at 10:15am.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, can be made to Wales Kidney Research Unit, Kim Abberley, Wales Kidney Research Unit (WKRU), Department of Nephrology, Heath Park, Cardiff, CF14 4XN in memory of John.

Bampy, I have always had a special place in my heart for you and always will, I will cheerish all our memories in your garden and shed and the visits you made to my house when we just sat and talked putting thing right. I have put the frog you gave me with nannas flower that she also gave me in a special corner of my garden, thankyou both. I have always loved you, R.I.P.
