We spent a lot of time together on the ministry and Ian had a keen sense of humour so a lot of fun too. We also got chased quite a few times so never a dull moment. I bought my first car off Ian, a yellow Capri, which is all the more funny as I couldn't drive and neither could Ian. He called it a yellow banana and laughed every time he said it. Ian was so unthinkingly generous too, a lovely man. We look forward to seeing you again in the paradise brother. All our love Steven Nicola Saffron and Iona.
