GillCHAPMANSadly passed away on 28th February 2022 aged 66. She was taken far too soon, the Barbican will not be the same without seeing her out for a stroll with her little dog Jake. A treasured "Mumsy", "GG", wife, sister, aunt and fun loving friend to many, she was recognisable by her infectious laugh and love of a good natter. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends as well as the local community (of which she was such an advocate). Funeral will be held at the Weston Mill Crematorium, Plymouth on Friday 18th March at 2.45pm followed by a celebration of life. Gill would not want it to be too formal so please wear bright colours. Family flowers only please and we ask that any donations be made online at www.wyattbrothers.co.uk for the Dogs Trust, Devon and the Mustard Tree Cancer Centre, Plymouth. Enquiries to Wyatt Brothers 5-7 Durnford Street, Plymouth PL1 3QJ Tel: 01752 600437

It's been nearly 30 years since we first met as neighbours at RAF Sealand. I knew from the moment we met that we would be friends. We've remained friends despite many house moves over the years and we've laughed a lot and cried a little together too. We will miss you Gilly, but we will will never forget your infectious laugh and your cheeky smile in those happy times.
