Karen was a truly beautiful soul — kind, generous, and full of strength. She took me under her wing when I first moved up here, giving me my very first job and helping me find my feet in a new place. That act of kindness stayed with me, and I will always be grateful. We used to laugh a lot and had some really funny times.

Through her, I met her gorgeous family — a reflection of the love and warmth she radiated. The extended circle she built with such heart.

Karen, you’re no longer in pain. May you rest in peace and light. Sending all my love to her mum Maureen, her children, her grandchildren, and her beautiful great-granddaughter. Her legacy lives on in all of you.
Love you Karen, thank you for all you did for me 💜
With love and deepest sympathy💜

Karen. You started off as my boss, but became my friend, supporter, and a mentor for life. You were such a rock for me through some very difficult years in my life. You were like a second Mum. I will forever miss you. I will be forever thankful for your advice, love, and support. You meant so much to me and I'm so sad that I never had the chance to tell you this in person. Life has been so unfair to you. You were so beautiful inside and out. I'll see you up there one day and we will have another glass wine together. Love you so much Karen xx
