Hazel IrisCHAPMANHazel passed away peacefully on Sunday 11 October 2026, while in the care of The Fairways Care Home, Grimsby, aged 86 years.
Beloved wife of Ken for 64 years.
Treasured mum of Deborah, Alan and the late Carol.
Much-loved mother-in-law of Caroline.
Cherished nana of James.
A dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt and cousin, and a good friend to many.
A loving and generous woman whose family meant everything to her, Hazel will be remembered for her kindness, strength and warm nature. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A service to celebrate Hazel's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday 28 October 2026 at 10.30am.
Donations in lieu of floral tributes would be gratefully received in Hazel's memory for St Andrew's Hospice. A donation box will be available after the service in the Garden of Remembrance. Donations may also be made online via funeral-notices.co.uk.
