KittyCHARLTON(Amble). Catherine 'Kitty' Besford Charlton, aged 87, died on 22nd August after a courageous battle with illness, loving wife of the late Jimmy Charlton, mother of Philip, Colin and Susan and loving grandmother to her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will take place at Sacred Heart Church, Amble, on Monday 1st September at 12.00noon, followed by interment in Amble West Cemetery. She died comfortably and peacefully at Susan and Simon's home with her family around her. Family flowers only, donations to Children's Heart Unit (CHUF), Freeman Hospital or 'Chin Up' Children's Hospice R.V.I.
