AlmaCHARLTON(Ashington) Peacefully at home with her family by her side on 2nd November 2021 aged 78 years. Alma Catherine (nee Pallett) deeply loved Wife & best friend of Connell, beloved Mam of Helen & Ailsa, Mother in law of Arthur & Kate, loving Grandma of Callum & Eleanor. Funeral service & cremation to take place at Cowpen Crematorium Blyth on Friday 12th November at 1.45pm. No flowers by request, donations in lieu if desired to MacMillan Nurses, a donation box will be available at the crematorium. The family give heartfelt thanks to the staff of Ward 10 at Cramlington Hospital, The GPs, District Nurses and Macmillan Carers who provided the very best of end-of-life care and support and enabled mum to be at home, with her family and husband, until the very end. To Nurse Deborah Murdoch, your compassion and utter professionalism comforted mum and us during the most difficult of days and we will be forever grateful for your help. All welcome afterwards for refreshments at Newbiggin Golf Club. The family request everyone not to wear black. Enquiries to A. J. Gascoigne & Son. Tel. 01670 818351.

Found memories at Christmas, fabulous food, and puddings , especially the Cheesecake at that time ,on Boxing Day, it was great fun.
