CaroleCHETWYNAt peace following an illness fought with great courage and dignity on Tuesday 6th June 2023 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Carole aged 67 years of Birches Head. (Retired BHS restaurant assistant, Hanley). Dearly loved and devoted wife of Ken and much loved mum of the late Elizabeth. Carole will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. Service at Carmountside Crematorium on Thursday 29th June 2023 at 12:30pm. Would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the crematorium and wear an item of lemon in colour by Carole's own request. Floral tributes may be sent. Carole - you have been like a nana to Poppy and Fynn. We have been blessed to have you in our lives and your continual positivity throughout your treatment has been uplifting and truly inspirational. You have been like a second mum to me and I have enjoyed every moment I have spent with you. I am heartbroken to have not said goodbye properly to you and this space in my heart cannot be refilled.
The love you had for Poppy and Fynn was beautiful and I am happy that we could make you smile and bring happiness to your life. Poppy has some fantastic memories of you which she will cherish forever and she is thankful for everything. We love you Carole and I know you are with Liz now. XXX
