CarmineCHICARELLAIt is with great sadness that we say goodbye to the much loved Dad of Carmen, Emanuela, Eduardo and Matteo and loving Nonno of Bella, Elliot and Oliver. Carmine was well known to many, as the owner and chef of the first Italian restaurant in Coventry, Quo Vadis in Coundon. Carmine passed away peacefully on Wednesday 25th September 2024.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will take place at Charter Chapel, Canley Cemetery on Friday 18th October at 10.00am, followed by burial in the Cemetery Garden. Flowers and enquiries to

Very sad to hear of Carmine's passing. We have many happy memories of wonderful evenings at Quo Vadis with Emanuela, Giovanni and all the staff, and of course Carmine the great chef himself. Our condolences from Lynne and Brian Unwin.

We had some fabulouas times in the Quo Vadis many years ago. Carmine was a great chef and a great character, we went to the restaurant nearly every week ! It was a sad loss to Coventry when he closed the Quo Vadis.
Unfortunately we will not be able to make the funeral as we are away.
Thinking of you all at this sad time.
