Today the world got a little less bright as we have lost a dear shining light in our lives. We found out that our dear friend Jesse Chirisa passed away last Thursday. He was one of our best friends. My first non university friend in Cambridge when I moved here back in 2004.
A true gentleman and a loyal and gracious friend. I don't think I've ever met a more selfless, humble and kind person. The love and friendship he showed our family, his generosity of spirit, the memories we shared, the late night discussions and full belly laughs will never be forgotten.
Such a life should be celebrated and will live on in all those whose lives he touched. He was an inspiration and I am a better person for having known him. I will miss your insights, your encouragement and the regular motivational messages you sent to my phone. I honestly don't know what we'd have done without your support, and I'm glad you knew how much you meant to us. I don't know when the tears will stop flowing. Thank you Jesse, and farewell my friend.
