Ram RupCHOUDHRYaged 86 passed away on Friday September 8th peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife Sumitra, son Ranjeev and two daughters Ameeta and Rekha and their families. He was passionate and dedicated to Manchester's community. He served as Justice of Peace for more than seventeen years. Following his retirement he dedicated his services to Indian Senior Citizens caring for elderly Indians in every way in his capacity as chairman and member of the management committee until the day he died. He will be deeply missed by members of the Indian Senior Citizens Centre. The funeral will be held on Thursday 14th September at Manchester Crematorium (Old Chapel) at 16.00 hours. Family flowers only. Donations to Marie Curie, Macmillian Fund and Age Uk. The family would like to thank all the carers and respected clinical teams for all their care and support at this difficult time.
