CHRISTOPHER CAZENOVEActor Christopher Cazenove has died, aged 66, after contracting septicaemia.
A family statement said he "died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones" on April 7, 2010.
He was best known for his role as Ben Carrington in the 1980s US soap opera Dynasty.
Christopher, from Winchester, first found fame as Charlie Tyrrell in the 1970s mini-series The Duchess of Duke Street.
His co-star, John Forsythe, who played Blake, the brother of Ben, died the week before.
His other TV roles included The Baron in Jeffrey Archer's novel Kane and Abel, Captain Preston in Jenny's War and Judge John Deed.
Films include Three Men and a Little Lady and the father of the late Heath Ledger's character in A Knight's Tale.
The family statement said: "All who knew and loved him will be devastated by the loss of this incredible man who touched so many lives.
"Despite a valiant fight and the untiring efforts of the wonderful team at St Thomas's, he was overwhelmed.
He was survived by his girlfriend Isabel Davis, son Rhys, and his ex-wife Angharad Rees. His elder son, Linford, died in 1999.
