CHRISTOPHER PECKRemembering Christopher Peck, 38, who died in a road accident in Scotland on 9 May, 2009.Hotel manager Mr Peck was from Grimsby and began his licensing trade career at Grimsby's Honest Lawyer pub. He had moved to Scotland to take over the running of the Brewer's Fayre at Fort William, after managing a number of bars in London and the The Honest Lawyer at Scunthorpe.He was survived by his partner Ana Maria Garcia who said they had enjoyed a trip to Edinburgh and were nearly home when the crash occurred.Mr Peck was also survived by his father who paid tribute to his son: "He lived life to the full. He had travelled the world. He was hard-working and was always on the go."Mr Peck was a keen member of the Astra Car Owners' Club and featured in the Grimsby Telegraph when he hosted Grimsby Town fans at London's Rat And Parrot as the club celebrated two Wembley Stadium wins in 1998.Mr Peck also ran The Honest Lawyer at Scunthorpe before moving to London.http://www.th isisgrimsby.co. uk/news/Hotel-boss-d eath- ruled-accidental/art icle- 1385514-detail/artic le.html [thisisgrimsby.co.uk ]
