My Mum was a strong, proud, patriotic, independent opinionated lady with a high moral compass and if you had a different opinion woe betide you as she would say. She was the matriarch of the family. Mum was our loyal and fierce supporter even in things she didn’t agree with she stood beside us always ,through divorce, bereavement, Health problems, financial difficulties and all the other things life throws at you. I have a lifetime of memories some good, some bad ,some great but they are all filled with love she gave. Mum was our safe space always there not just for us but for anyone who knock on her door needing help and guidance. I am so proud of what my Mum achieved in her 82 years and so Proud she was my Mum I just hope I can match up to high the bar she set of being a fantastic Mum.
