Stop the clocks. A heart so full of life has fallen silent.

Today, we pause and feel the weight of an extraordinary loss. Jane was not just a wife, a friend, or a nurse — she was a light in the lives she touched. Her compassion, tireless care, and unwavering kindness marked every moment of her life, whether at home, among friends, or at the bedside of those who needed her most.

Her sudden passing leaves a silence that words struggle to fill. She made the world better, simply by being in it.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jane's family.

Jane was the senior staff nurse on the children’s ward when I was newly qualified. She was a fabulous role model who shared her knowledge and always worked along with the team donning a pink apron and ensuring the children got a high standard of care. RIP
