Five years have passed since you were taken from us, my beautiful boy, and not a day goes by that we don't think of you. You were only 34 years old, with so much life still ahead of you, so many dreams yet to fulfil, and so much love still to give.
Not a day passes when we don't wish we could see your face, hear your voice, wrap our arms around you, and tell you just how much you mean to us.
People say time is a healer, but losing you has taught us that some heartaches never go away. We simply learn to carry them, along with the love and memories that will stay with us forever.
We miss the little things, the laughter, the conversations, your smile, and just knowing you were here. I would give anything for one more hug, one more conversation.
You may no longer be here for us to hold, but you will always be our son, my precious boy, and a part of us will always be with you. We carry you in our hearts every single day.
