CLARKEJohn The family and friends of John Clarke, who passed away on 24 February, would like to express their warm gratitude to Daniel Robinson & Sons of Sawbridgeworth for their services at the funeral on 29 March. Everything was done impeccably and with great respect and we appreciated their kindness in allowing the cortège to pause for a minute outside a house in Gilston which had been the village school where John received his primary education. Special thanks are due to Caroline Gunn for her care and help in the weeks leading up to the funeral itself. She ensured that everything went smoothly and the burden of administration was removed from us.
