Joan MargaretCLARKEIt is with great sadness that the family of Joan Margaret Clarke announce her peaceful passing on 21st of December 2022 at the Cloverleaf Care Home, Lincoln, aged 84 years. Loving wife of the late Brian, much loved mother to Robert and Rosalyn, mother-in-law of Jon and Kirstie, cherished grandma to Lois and Tristan, dear sister of Barbara, treasured sister-in-law of John, Joe and Di and June and the late Leslie, also much loved auntie to Graham, Andrew and Simon and their families, Anthony and Sandra and the late Tony. Joan will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends and remembered fondly by those with whom she worked and who she taught as a teacher at Yarborough, Harold Street, Springfield and Welholme schools in Grimsby, and by those who share her love of jazz music, art and craft. A service to celebrate Joan's life will be held at St Giles with St Matthew Church, Scartho, Grimsby on Thursday 19th January 2023 at 2pm followed by a private service at Grimsby Crematorium. Family flowers only please, but donations to the Salvation Army may be given on the day of the service or sent directly to the Salvation Army through Tribute to Joan Clarke, 1938 - 2022 (muchloved.com).
