Veronica NoraCLARKEIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera, who passed away peacefully on Thursday 1st October, at Lister Hospital Stevenage, aged 79.
She will be missed beyond measure by her children Alison and Andrew, her grandchildren Dylan and Rylie, her daughter-in-law, sisters, brothers, and many other adoring family members in Cork and beyond.
A treasured friend to many, and well-known in Hertford after nearly 35 years of living there, Vera was much loved for her humour, sass, warmth and generosity.
A celebration of Vera's life will be held at Woollensbrook Crematorium, Hoddesdon on Friday 23rd October, at 3.30pm. Please wear a little something green in her honour, as we all know how proud she was to be Irish.
Instead of flowers, donations are invited for either Keech Hospice Care or British Heart Foundation, two charities that Vera herself supported for many years through her work as a volunteer. Donations can be made direct to the charities or may be given at the service.
