Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at Surrey University, then of Infrastructure Engineering at Southampton.
Much loved husband of Mary, father of Thomas and Eleanor, grandfather of John, Amber, Edie, Frank and Isla, and brother of Camilla.
Funeral service at Guildford Crematorium on Tuesday 4th August at 3.00pm.
