JackCLEGGJack Clegg, of Bacup Road, Waterfoot, passed away on October 5, aged 80 years.
Jack previously worked as a salesperson/driver for Holland’s Pies in Baxenden. His past interests included golf. He was a Budgerigar fancier/ breeder and he also showed them in competitions.
He enjoyed playing bingo, loved greyhound racing and horse racing. He also loved being around his family and mowing his lawn.
Husband to Mary Clegg, father to Gail, Thomas (Tommy), Solina, Mary, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held on
Tuesday, October 24 at 11am at
The Parish of Holy Trinity, Tunstead, conducted by Reverend Janet O’Neil and a committal will be held at 12pm at Rawtenstall Cemetery.
No flowers, donations to RSPB and Dementia UK. Funeral director: Paul Swarbrick for Knight and Boys Funeral Service.
