Passed away peacefully in St Oswald's Hospice on 15th November 2023, aged 85 years.

Beloved wife of the late Oscar, much loved mother of Nils, Michael and Thomas, and mother-in-law of Sarah and Diane. Also a loving grandma of Isak, Anna, Matthew and Louisa.

Would family and friends please meet for service at The West Road Crematorium, Newcastle upon Tyne, on Thursday 7th December at 2:15pm.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to St Oswald's Hospice.

I miss her a lot. We talked in English and Spanish every Sunday morning for three years over Skype, and I loved chatting with her. I held her in great affection and esteem. She was an extraordinary woman: honest, big-hearted, intelligent, interesting, positive, and strong. To me, she was like my "adoptive" grandmother. I truly miss our conversations. Thanks a lot for being a part of my life. I'll never forget you. Rest in peace. With love, your friend Isabel.
