To my dear friend Bob,
The best friend any one could wish to have.
My late husband Steve and I were lucky to have met him and his late wife Chris.
He was like family to us. A loving and attentive godfather and surrogate grandfather to our two children Joanne and Paul. He made their childhoods so much richer.
Rest in Peace Bob.
You will be so much missed.
Fly high.
Love Lily

In loving memory of a dear godfather.
We shall miss you and life will be less lovely without you. I shall miss the sunflowers 🌻 the pansies 🌸 and the 🍅 tomatoes.
I shall miss the stories, the plans and the company.
Most of all I shall miss your guidance, advice and unconditional support.
Myself and the girls will mourn your loss but cherish our memories..
Rest in Peace Uncle Bob.
Say hello to Auntie Chris for us.
Lots of Love
Jo, Kyle, Ellie, Ruby and Millie. Xxxxxxxx

Uncle Bob, Godfather, and surrogate
grandfather in all but name. A truly special person with a remarkable and memorable character. Underneath the kind,

funny and spirited personality, Uncle Bob was also endlessly loving to me and Joanne. You couldn't have wished for a better Godfather. Alongside Auntie Chris, we had the most fantastic memories, both staying at their house on Central Parade and our many weekend caravan trips with Kerryanne and Andrew. Later in life, and after Auntie Chris died, Uncle Bob was a rock we could always rely on. He wasn't a man to be looked after! He was always the one to give advice and be the guide. Particularly to me in recent years.. and believe me I was in need of some honest and no-nonesense talk. It's hard to do a man like Uncle Bob true justice, but he was better for knowing, more loving and giving than the sometimes grumpy persona may have you believe (something he particularly enjoyed perpetuating in his later years!) and a person who made life better by just being alive. I can only say that he made mine and my sister's childhood so much richer, so much more cherished, and that he took the title of Godfather more seriously than most. We love you Uncle Bob. Rest in peace.
