Alderman BrianCOATES(Gateshead) Brian sadly lost his long battle with Mesothelioma at home on 6th July 2022, aged 78 years. Beloved husband of Sylvia. Much loved Dad of Gwen and Denise and adored Grandad of Eden, Nadine and Melissa. Loving Father-In-Law, Uncle, Brother, great friend and champion of the Gateshead community. The funeral service will be held at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 28th July 2022 from 13.45 and this will be an extended service. For those who can't attend the funeral service, we will be driving past Gateshead Civic Centre on the way to the crematorium if you wish to pay your last respects.
