Michael GeorgeCOCKERHAMPassed away peacefully at home on Saturday 27th August 2022, with wife Jane and daughters Nicola and Jo by his side. Much loved husband, father, brother, teacher and friend. God bless you and keep you. We love you forever. Funeral to be held at All Saints' Church, Martock, Somerset at 3pm on 15th September and private family burial to be held at St Nicholas Church, Winsley. Donations, if desired, for Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK are being received by Co-op Funeralcare, 8-11 Bond Street, Yeovil, BA20 1PE.

It was my great pleasure and privilege many years ago now, to sing with Michael in choirs and consorts in which his sweetest of counter-tenor voices, sensitive musicianship and perfect tuning made him an outstanding member. I fondly remember performances we gave of Britten's Canticle 'Abraham and Isaac'. A modest man of great integrity.

RIP Michael.
