Sorry to hear this news, I worked with Rex in the early 1970's at Laskys Hifi shop on Lower Parliament street in Nottingham. I would often meet him early in the morning and go for a hot chocolate with him, at the cafe across the road, before Laskys opened. I always remember him telling me about when he rode motorbikes and on his leather jacket he had the words FORAS SESTO PONDERO VER. In his memory I'll leave you to puzzle over that. If the family still his old Kef 104 speakers, keep them, they are the best. RIP Rex Regards Keith Hull x

Tribute to Rex Lowe Coker (1941-2024)
In the two years between 2011 and 2013 Rex issued and received yards and yards of emails in his quest to search out the full family tree of our Coker family. And since then he has maintained contact with many of us, his cousins, exchanging photographs and other memorabilia. Always generous with his knowledge and never satisfied until full details had been verified, Rex was the ideal person for this work.
In devising and creating this illustrated chart of those daughters and sons of Lucy Harriet (née Bates) and Cornelius Coker who had survived to adult life, Rex enabled the subsequent descendants to become aware -many for the first time - of cousins, aunts and uncles.
