PhyllisCOLEPassed away on 14th January 2017 at Manorfields Care Home, aged 97 years; beloved wife of the late George, much loved mother of Keith, Phillip and the late Geoffrey, dear mother-in-law of Maureen and Ingrid and a dearly loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral Monday 6th February. Service 3.00pm in the Round Chapel at Markeaton Crematorium. Either flowers, or donations for Cats Protection (Derby and District Branch), may be given at the service or sent care of G. Wathall and Son Ltd 101-111 Macklin Street Derby DE1 1LG. Mum's funeral service and wake were very memorable because we celebrated the love and humour that she gave out. Always one to amuse with her fake intimidating looks and very doubtful stories of her boys when they were young. There was the quiet one who could do no wrong, the middle child who you could never work out - then me, the late addition to a very loving family. I'm 72 now, and feel proud and honoured to be Phyllis's son.
