Have to admit that I only met Terry a few times, but even as a 'bloody yank' I never received anything from him except help and good cheer.

I think Caroline's tributes to him say it all - he was a great guy to all who knew him.

His was a life that was cut too short.

Caroline - your eloquence cheered me up, even though it was given in a somber cause. I can tell from your words that you have your shxt together - well done, girl.

Mike

We don't ask for miracles,
But today just one will do;
To leave the door wide open,
And see you walk right through.
We would wrap our arms around you,
And kiss your smiling face,
For you were very special,
Who no one can replace.

Missing you on Fathers Day daddy!!
Lots of Love your little girl. Caroline xxx

A very special dad...

You lived so long in pain,
Now all thats gone away,
Its nice to know your safe,
In that special place you stay!

You were the best dad in the world, not only did you take on 2 children when you met mum, you took on me aswell not long after veronica was born. You even took in old grandad charlie and built him his own special granny flat abouve the garage. You would do anything for anyone. You never let anyone down. Even on xmas day you rushed off to help some poor old lady whos pipe had burst!!
You will never be forgotten dad.
I love you. Caroline xxx
