JeanCOLEMANof Fernhill House Care Home and formerly of Barker Court, Bacup, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, aged 96 years.
Before retirement, Jean worked as a wages clerk for J & J McLeries. Upon retirement she volunteered for a number of organisations, including Citizens Advice Bureau, Age Concern and Red Cross. For many years Jean was a brownie guider and also district commissioner for guiding in Bacup. Jean was also a member of Rossendale Talking Newspaper.
Wife to the late Jack (who died in 1980) and a loving mother to Ian and Linda.
Jean’s funeral will take place on Wednesday, October 16, at Burnley Crematorium at 1.45pm.
