The obituary notice of Derek COLEMAN

Although I only had the privilege of speaking to you over FaceTime, even from 3,700 miles away, I could still feel your presence, warmth and love. You were so cheeky, full of intelligence and had such a way about you that made you feel close, no matter the distance.
I wish I’d had the chance to meet you in person and explore the beautiful scenery where you lived, but I feel so lucky to have known even a little piece of the wonderful man you were and will forever be. You truly were one of a kind, Derek, and you’ll be missed more than words can say. Rest peacefully, Derek. When you’re laid to rest near my grandad Pete, please say hello to him for me🤍 x

You always told me you had no intention of dying soon, and I believed you. We always think there will be more time: more conversations, more visits, more chances to say the things that matter. I'm so grateful for the time we did have, and I'll carry you with me always.
