MalcolmCOLLINSMalcolm passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on 4 February aged 85. Devoted husband to Margaret for 65 years, loving father to Jacqui, Jayne and Joanne, beloved grampy to Christopher, Rhiannon, Owain and Michael. Survived by his older brother Godfrey and sister-in-law Penny. Malcolm will also be sadly missed by niece Linda and his best buddy Mervyn, all of his other nieces, nephews and their families. Malcolm was one of Wales' sporting legends. He was undefeated British and Welsh Featherweight champion between 1951 and 1958. He represented Wales at the Vancouver Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1954 winning a silver medal. He then represented Wales in his home city of Cardiff in 1958 carrying the flag for the Welsh team again winning a silver medal. Due to Covid restrictions, funeral is by invitation and family flowers only please. Donations may be given in lieu of flowers to Dementia UK and/or Marie Curie.
