RoyCOLLINS(Consett) Peacefully in Willowburn Hospice, Lanchester on 23 May 2023 aged 53 years after a long brave battle with cancer. Beloved husband to Victoria, much loved son to Malcolm and brother-in-law to Andrea. Roy will be greatly missed by all family and friends who knew and loved him. A funeral service will take place at Durham Crematorium on 7 June 2023 at 1:30pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu can be made to Willowburn Hospice or Macmillan Cancer Support. willow-burn.co.uk/donate

Dear Vicki & Uncle Malcolm, we wish we could be there with you, but know that we are there with you in spirit.
Roy will be greatly missed, and we all remember his kindness, intelligence, humour and generous nature.
We wish he had more time with Roy, but cherish the times and memories that we had with him and with you all.
Thinking of you always, especially now.

Roy, what a miss you will be. You were so brave and matter of fact about your illness, you have my utmost admiration. The lads and I couldn't wait to get you back playing in the quiz team again but alas it never happened. RIP mate and thank you for all the great memories.
