Lynne Collins

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lynne Collins on August 14th, 2024, in Scarborough.

Born on July 13th, 1952, in Coventry, Lynne lived a fulfilling life filled with love, laughter and dedication. She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, daughter, and sister, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

Lynne spent a significant portion of her life in Coventry, where she worked at Coventry University for many years. She met her husband, John, while working at the University and they married in 1979. She had a deep affection for her home city.

In 2015, Lynne retired to Filey, North Yorkshire, where she continued to enjoy a vibrant and fulfilling life. She embraced the coastal town's natural beauty and tranquillity, often spending time exploring the local beaches and countryside.
