EdwardCOLLINS(Newcastle) Peacefully on 21st June 2026, aged 85.

Beloved husband of Alice, much loved dad of Eddie and Shaun, father-in-law of Susie, loved grandad of Jack and Nathan and dear sister-in-law of Jill.

Family and friends please meet at Tynemouth Crematorium on Friday 10th July at 2.15pm for service.

Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Edward for Dementia UK would be appreciated and can be made at the service.

All at Backworth Cricket Club would like to pay their respects following the passing of Eddie Collins.
We always looked forward to his visits to our club. Whether he was umpiring our games himself or proudly watching and supporting Shaun as he did the same, his presence was always appreciated and will be fondly remembered.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
