On behalf of colleagues and students at Coventry University may I offer our sincerest condolences for your loss. Prof Collis is fondly remembered as a caring, supportive and highly influential colleague who was instrumental in the Economics Departments' formation and growth during his time with us.

Dear Collis family, I was so sorry to hear of Clive's passing. I had the pleasure of having Clive as my tutor and then work mentor in the Economics Department at Coventry University. He was amazingly supportive, forgiving, witty and kind. It was an honour to have known him. Dr Keith Gray
