DorothyCONEY(née Jackson) Passed peacefully at home surrounded by love on 12th March, aged 73, of Staithes. Devoted and loving wife of the late Pete, caring and cherished mam of James and Ashleigh, adored grandma of Peter, Esmae and Ava. A loved sister, auntie, great auntie, cousin, and friend. A celebration of life will be held at Hinderwell Church on Thursday 31st March at 2pm. It is requested that colourful attire be worn. Family flowers only. I met Dot when I was a teenager in the late '60,s at Staithes Coffee Bar with my motorbike friends . She had a warm and welcoming smile and as time went by she and Pete became husband and wife . Over the years the biker fraternity would all get together to re-live old times and it was Dot and Pete who organised the meets . I was deeply saddened to hear of Dots passing and want to extend heartfelt sympathy to James and Ashleigh and family members .
