John PaulCONHEENEYJohn Paul Conheeney, aged 83, of Sherwood and Carrington and later Arnold, Nottingham, passed away peacefully in hospital on 3rd May 2026.
Born in Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, Ireland, in 1942, John was a respected scaffolder by trade and was known to many throughout Nottingham over the years through both his work and wide circle of friends.
Devoted husband of the late Margaret Conheeney, much loved father of Jason, Caroline and Alan, proud grandfather of Emily, James and Andreas, and cherished great-grandfather of Primrose and Elwood.
John will be fondly remembered for his dedication to his family, generosity towards others, and his love of studying the Saturday horse racing. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Requiem Mass will be held at Church of the Good Shepherd at 11:00am on Thursday 4th June 2026.
