DavidCONNORMr David Connor, of Meadow Nook Farm, Baxenden, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, at Royal Blackburn Hospital after a short illness, aged 79. He leaves his wife Gertrude who he was married to for 60 years, and had sons David, Michael and the late Robert, and daughters Christine and Janet. He leaves his brother Bill, grandchildren Tommy, Paul, Scott, Lee, Dean, Leanne, Karla and Charlie, and his seven great-grandchildren. David will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A celebration of his life was to be held at Accrington Crematorium on Monday, July 20, at 1.40pm. Donations for RSPB. Funeral director: Johnson, Durning and Woods Funeral Service.
