DavidCONWAY(Wallsend) Passed away suddenly on 28th October 2021. A beloved husband to Jan and loving dad to Sean. A much loved son to Betty and the late Jim. A loving brother to Julie, Lisa and brother in law Mark. A devoted uncle to Georgia, Amy, Lucy, Millie and great niece Rosie, and a much loved nephew of Aunty Margaret. Forever in our hearts and greatly missed. Funeral service at Tynemouth crematorium on the 23rd November at 10:30. All welcome afterwards at The Lindisfarne Club, West Street Wallsend. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to David's charities.

I am so shocked to hear of this sad, sad news.
I know Dave’s (known to me as ‘George’) death was a number of years ago now, but it’s just appeared in my FB feed.
George was a really nice guy. I served with him in the RN for a number of years and a funnier bloke you could not wish to meet. Whenever I think of him, it’s always with a smile.
RIP shipmate and condolences to all his family.
