Anthony (Tony)COOGAN On the 5th of March 2018, suddenly and peacefully during Mass, aged 82 years. Beloved husband of Kathleen for 60 years, loving father of Clare, Martin, David, Stephen, Kevin, Brendan and Maria. A loving father also to Tina, Gerry, James and other children fostered, cared for and loved. Cherished father-in-law to Mark, Kathryn, Heather, Jane and Kate. Grandad to Katie, Joseph, Thomas, Jacob, Luke, William, Mary, Lenny, Earl, Lizzie, Patrick, Ted, John, Edith, Joseph, Wilfred, Clare, Milly, Maddy, Jamie, Martha, Sally and Frankie. Great Grandfather to Olive, Louis, Alice and Sadie. Caring older brother of Peter, Tom, Mollie and Patricia. Also loved by the extended Coogan and Coonan families. He will be greatly missed. Funeral Mass at St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Mainway, Middleton M24 1PP on Wednesday 21st March at 12 noon, followed by interment at Blackley Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, for both L'Arche Manchester and Medecins Sans Frontieres c/o S Wellens and Sons, 121 Long Street, Middleton, Manchester M24 6DL, to whom all enquiries may be made on 0161 643 2677.
