AndreaCOOK (OBE)COOK Andrea ( OBE ) (Gilesgate) Formerly of Ryton. Peacefully at home on 21st June, aged 67 years, Andrea. Beloved partner of Peter Tomlin, and a much loved sister of Karen. Andrea will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends please meet for service in Bede Chapel, Gilesgate, Durham on Friday 26th July at 1.00pm, prior to interment in South Road Cemetery. No flowers please, donations in lieu if desired to Cats Protection.

Words will never explain Andrea how greatly you are missed by your Big Sister. The years seem to have gone nowhere since we played in the back streets of Crawcrook and ate Marchettis ice cream.! But I am so grateful that you are now free from pain and hopefully have found the peace you craved for. Back at last with Mam, Dad, Grandad and Nana. We will meet again one day. My deepest sympathy to Peter and of course, Sooty. All my love Karen x
