MelanieCOOKPassed away 17th September 2023 aged 60 years, peacefully in the arms of her loved ones after her courageous battle with her illness. Long time partner to Dave. Loving Mother to Becky and Frankie. Nanny to Abigail and Eve. Will be sadly missed by all her family, friends and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. The funeral service will take place on Thursday 19th October at 2.30pm in Charter Chapel, Canley Crematorium. Family flowers only, if you wish to make a donation in Mel's memory, the chosen charity is a local Alzheimer's Hub. Thursday will be a celebration of Mel's life, therefore the family request that you wear something blue, if possible. Today we say goodbye to Mel, who fought so bravely and for so long to stay with David, Becky and Frankie. Mel, you struggled so hard, it’s a well deserved peace that you’ve found. Uncle David, I’m sorry for what you’ve lost. The commitment you’ve shown to Mel when she needed it most is a testament to the love you had for each other. You deserved so much more time, and so many more adventures together. Mel will be sadly missed by us all.
