Maureen JuneCOOKE(Lincoln) Passed away on 26th March 2024 aged 89 years (1935 - 2024)

Maureen may well be remembered as a respected teacher at a local infants school where she taught for many years, not only educating her pupils but guiding and helping them to care for and share with others.

Maureen leaves behind her daughter, Julie, but joins Stephen, her beloved son, who passed away in 2021. She was a loving, kind and giving Mum who taught us so much and passed on to us her love of nature especially. Her favourite son in law, Terry, will also miss her especially her sense of humour! We all shared many happy times together.

Widowed in 1970, she met her partner in later life, David, who will sorely miss her as his best friend. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Rachel. Maureen was a treasured sister, auntie and loyal friend. She will be remembered and loved forever as a courageous, kind and loving person.

Those who knew her are invited to attend Maureen's funeral to celebrate her life with the family. This will be in the West Chapel at Lincoln Crematorium on Wednesday 24th April at 11.00 am. There will be a private gathering afterwards.
