The world is softly glowing, with the warmth that Christmas brings,
And everybody’s wishing for nice gifts and favourite things,
But all I’ll ever wish for is to hug you really tight, to feel again your loving arms that once held me safe and protected me.
To hear your voice, speak my name, see the twinkle in those blue eyes,
To share once more a Christmas full of magic and surprises,
But sadly they are all wishes I know can not come true, yet there’s a wish deep in my heart that I still cling to and that’s the hope that some day we will once again be together so I can hold you close to me
When I wake on Christmas Day
I’ll look to Heaven above
And remember my special Husband Ray
