JuliaCOOKEPalmfield, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon, Ireland, born and raised in Leicester. Julia, also known as Sheila, was daughter of the late Paul Murphy and sister of Vera Sweeney, Rosemary Williams, Paul, Michael and the late Peter Murphy. Julia died peacefully on July 5th, 2026, aged 81, survived by her 10 loving children and 19 treasured grandchildren after a life well lived. Thanks to all who sympathised following her funeral in Ireland.

Remembering with love my eldest sister, Sheila, who will be greatly missed. Deepest sympathy to her much loved 10 children and 19 grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
