Paul GerrardCOOPERPassed away peacefully at home on 10th February 2025 aged 74.

Loving brother of Celia and Adam, brother in law to Ann, and devoted uncle to Nina. Respected work colleague for Derbyshire Library Services at Belper and Blagreaves Lane Libraries.

Paul will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all his many friends and colleagues.

The funeral will be on Tuesday 11th March at 1.00pm, Amber Valley Crematorium.

Flowers or donations welcome, Derbyshire Childrens Holiday Centre is the Charity of Choice.

Paul worked at the Home Library service at Blagreaves library for many years. He was a very kind and caring man and was a well liked member of our team. RIP Paula Brown

I was so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. I appointed Paul to his job at Belper library. He launched himself into library activities, leading storytimes and doing sing alongs, as well as helping staff and readers with their IT problems. It's never easy for a man to fit into a female dominated profession, but Paul was welcomed by the Belper staff and fitted in very well. He was a kind and caring man.
