AudreyCOOPERAUDREY Cooper, of Haslingden, passed away peacefully at The Lindens Rest Home on May 11, aged 83.
Loving daughter and granddaughter. Audrey was well-known in the area spending her working life at
Haslingden Library, a job which she loved and where she made many lifelong friends.
A dear friend to Barbara and her two sons, Mark and Andrew, and their wives, Jenny and Kerry,
and Marie and her husband Mitchell and their daughters, Charlotte and Jillian.
Audrey was godmother to Edward and Toby and a friend to many who she had met
through going to church and working at Haslingden Library.
Audrey was an animal lover and owned a budgie named Freddie and a cat named Lucy. During retirement, she enjoyed dedicating her time to supporting local charities and spending time with Barbara and her family including dog walking, holidaying in the UK and going out for family meals.
Audrey's funeral will take place at Johnson, Durning & Woods Chapel of Rest, Pleasant St, Haslingden, BB4 5LG on Monday, June 1 at 1pm followed by a burial at Haslingden Cemetery, Grane Road, Haslingden, Rossendale, BB4 4PD.
