PeterCOPEPeter Cope, aged 65, passed away peacefully in Blackpool after a strong and brave fight.
A precious husband to Deborah, devoted dad to James, Gemma and Jodie, and adored Poppy to Jess, Esme, Ruby, Matilda, Reggie and Bronte. A loving brother to the late David and Lee, a much-loved father-in-law to Kay, Alan and Ryan, and a cherished uncle and friend to many.
Peter was a hardworking man who enjoyed eight happy years of retirement, making the most of life and spending precious time with his beloved family. Warm, loving and proud, he had a wonderful sense of humour and a way of making people smile. He loved nothing more than good times, music, food and, above all, being surrounded by his family.
Peter was a kind, generous and loving man who was deeply loved by all who knew him.
His family meant everything to him, and he took immense pride in watching his children and grandchildren grow.
He fought with incredible courage and strength throughout his illness, never losing the love and spirit that made him so special.
He leaves behind a lifetime of precious memories that will be treasured forever.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.
Funeral service to take place on Friday 9th October 2026 at the Old Chapel, Etruria at 10.15am, followed by a private interment.
