DavidCORNEYAged 80 years, suddenly at home on February 27th of Middleton-St-George formerly of Yarm Road, Eaglescliffe. Devoted husband of Eileen, dearly loved father of Martin and Jon, dear father-in-law of Kendra and Sarah and a loving grandad to Mitchell, Joseph, Sophie and Jamie. Funeral Wednesday March 13th. Friends please meet for service in St Mary Magdalene Church, West Street, Yarm at 2.30pm followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired may be sent for Daisy Chain c/o Whitehouse Funeral Service. Gents - club, society or coloured ties to be worn if possible please.

Only just found out this terrible news. Dave was a warm, kind and genuinely lovely man. He was my mentor for fifteen years at JW Hobbs and I learnt so much from him. My thoughts and deepest condolences to Eileen, Martin and Jon.
